Well, given the current weather tonight’s movie might be postponed – but for now it’s on at Harrison Field. Tonight they will be showing Bag It, an award-winning documentary about the effects of plastic on our waterways, oceans, and people. It will be preceded by the short Big Birding Day, which is about, believe it or not, competitive bird watching.
Same deal applies as always, gates open at 7 – movie starts at sundown. They will pass out free reusable bags to the first 75 people to come in, and to highlight environmentalism further – there will be a few speakers addressing the DC bag tax before the film starts.
I will let you know if tonight’s movie gets postponed because of weather.
