Buried deep in Borderstan’s great profile of 1905’s owner, Tony Lucca, was this nugget of news: he’s thinking of expanding with a roof deck. I did some research and there are no permits in place (or pending) – but this is exciting news. I had written off 1905 (9th and T) before, after a few lackluster experiences there, but foodie friends on Twitter have told me to give it another chance. Borderstan’s profile also hints that they have revamped the menu, which I welcome.
