Saint-Ex is holding their annual Labor Day Pig Roast on September 6th, from 11 am to 5 pm. The whole event benefits the Fillmore Arts Center, an innovative program that helps bring the arts to DC public schools. This year’s event includes a BBQ sauce competition, live bluegrass from Dry Mill Road, interactive arts for kids, and barback olympics. $10 gets you pulled pork sandwiches, coleslaw, and potato salad. Beer is available for sale too.
This event should be a lot of fun for a good cause, if you’re in town, definitely swing by. I’m pretty sure I’ll be there.
