Pica Taco coming
As I reported two weeks ago, we now have a sign confirming that Pica Taco is coming to the old LZ Restaurant space. As Prince of Petworth reported, there is a Pica Taco in Mt. Pleasant and it has gotten some very positive reviews from a number of outlets. So I’m getting pretty excited, and hoping it opens soon.

It looks just shady enough to be a legit Mexican food place (I have high standards, being from Southern California), but DC joints have disappointed me before. I have my fingers crossed, though!

The one off Columbia Road is FANTASTIC. I’m super excited to have a location just a few blocks away. Can’t come soon enough! And Greg, I’m from SoCal, too, so I feel I can reassure you of the quality.
